Following the success of the first series of Step Up to the Plate we are looking for the next contestants for season 2. First Date’s Fred Sirieix and Junior Bake Off judge and notable chef, Allegra McEvedy, return as our mentors and judges – and they’re excited to make this season even bigger and bolder than the last.
We are now looking for boys and girls, in school years 5 – 9, with either a passion for cooking or the personality for serving. Similar to season 1, the Restaurant Crew will be working on the restaurant floor, learning how to become mini Maitre D’s from Fred. Allegra will appraise the menus the Kitchen Crews create and instructing them on how to cook to a professional standard for real customers. Students will need permission from their parents/guardian to apply.
