Job/Person Summary

We are seeking to recruit an excellent teacher to join our thriving split-site primary school in September 2026. This is a full-time maternity cover temporary contract. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for someone to work with an outstanding team in a supportive, challenging, but friendly environment. During our latest Ofsted (January 2024), children's behaviour & attitudes and personal development were cited as outstanding, and our passionate teachers were also recognised, along with inspirational leadership.


We are looking for someone who is:

  • able to inspire children, understand their individual needs and enable each child to reach their true potential through a challenging and motivating curriculum
  • a strong team player, resilient and relentless in the pursuit of excellence
  • fully committed to ensuring that all children achieve high standards and make good progress, with a proven track record of making this happen
  • a calm, positive, and effective communicator who can build positive relationships with staff, pupils, parents, governors, and outside agencies
  • passionate about teaching and learning, with initiative, drive, and ambition for every child
  • well organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage their workload efficiently
  • able to demonstrate high expectations of pupil behaviour
  • a good sense of humour
  • a flexible approach to school life.
